Manage the types of email you receive from The BLESS App
When you create your account, you will automatically be enrolled in receiving emails from us. We understand that you may not want to receive these emails or may want to change which types of email you receive from us. Or, you may have unsubscribed from emails in the past and would like to start receiving them again. Use the instructions in this article to manage your account's email settings.
- After signing into your account on our website, click 'Account' in the top-right corner of the page.
- Scroll down to 'Email settings'. Here you can select which types of emails you would like to receive .
- Here is a general explanation of what to expect when each of these categories is enabled:
- Updates about The BLESS App and your account: Emails in this category will likely feature news about The Bless App, highlights of new features, or changes that we are making that may affect you.
- Other ministry opportunities: Emails in this category will include messages that we would like to share with you about or from our ministry partners. These may be regional ministries that you may be interested in.
- Prayer reminders: This category is exclusively for the daily prayer reminder emails that include your homes to pray for each day.
- Notices about your account's church and association roles: If you have selected your church in The BLESS App, this option will send you any updates or highlights connected to your church.
- Other services available to your church or association: This category is exclusively for admins of a church or association. Here, you will receive emails on how to improve The BLESS experience for your church or association.
You have now updated your email preferences.
If you would like to edit the days you receive prayer prompt emails, please visit THIS article for more information
- To select which days you receive prayer prompt emails, click the 'Settings' tab on the left-hand panel.
- Scroll down to 'Select days.' Here you can check days you would like to receive emails and uncheck days you would not like to receive emails. This applies only to prayer prompt emails.
- Click 'Save changes' at the bottom to confirm.
You have now customized your prayer reminder email schedule.
NOTE: if you are receiving multiple reminder emails per day, you most likely have more than one Light role. Please read THIS help article that discusses roles so that you can get a better understanding of how your account is structured. If you discover that you do unintentionally have two or more light roles and decide that you would like to delete any of them that you deem unneeded, you can follow the instructions in THIS help article.
