Onboarding Lights
If you are launching The BLESS App in your church, you will want your congregation to be associated with your church so you can track their progress. They will show up as 'Lights' in your church's account. You can view these Lights under the 'Lights' tab on your church's account.
NOTE: If a Light connects with a church, you will be able to see some of their information If your church is subscribed to Bless Partner. Your church will be able to see the Light's address, name, email address, and BLESS stats. The church will not be able to see any other information (including things like personal notes, etc). If you are not subscribed to Bless Partner, you will not be able to see this information.If they have not connected with your church yet, you can share your church's PROMO Link with them. This will walk them through the signup process and automatically link them to your organization. We recommend you use this URL in an email or social media campaign to maximize the number of people that sign up under your church.
To find your church's PROMO Link, click the 'Promo' tab on the left-hand panel of the page while viewing your church role. (If you have multiple roles, you will need to make sure that you are viewing the correct role before clicking the 'Account' tab.)
Once you are on the 'Promo' tab, scroll down to the section that says 'Onboarding Lights'. Here will be a QR code and specific website link that you can share with members in your congregation.
When you share the QR code or link, it will do one of two things depending on the member:
For members who are completely new to the BLESS App, when they click on the QR code/link they will have to sign up for an account. Once they create an account, they will have an option on their dashboard to 'Connect with this church.' They will have to select 'Connect' to be connected to your church.
For members who already have a BLESS App account, when they click on the QR code/link, they will automatically be connected with your church.
NOTE: Each PROMO Link is created uniquely for each organization. The URL listed above will not work for your church and will need to be copied from your church's 'PROMO' page. The QR code and URL is only shown for example.Related Articles
