Practicing the B.L.E.S.S. rhythms
What are the B.L.E.S.S. rhythms?
B.L.E.S.S. stands for:
Begin with prayer
Listen
Eat
Serve
Share your story
These practices were developed by Pastors Jon and Dave Ferguson to equip you to become a beacon of Christ's love in your neighborhood. With simple rhythms like praying for your neighbors, breaking bread with them, or serving them, you can have an eternal impact on those around you.
How to practice the B.L.E.S.S. rhythms
You can track your progress with your neighbors on either the 'Map' or 'BLESS list' tab located on the left-hand panel of your account screen. Use whichever method you prefer.
From the Map Page:
Click on a household icon, the information box will appear. All of your adopted houses will start as grey icons.
Select the '+' icon for the practice that describes the current status of your relationship with that neighbor. Each time you click on the color icon, it will add one to the total on the corner of that icon. This helps you keep track of how many times you have built your relationship with that neighbor.
