Edit your organization's information and affiliations
As an administrator of an organization, you may find it necessary to change some of the information that we have listed for your organization. To get started, make sure you are viewing the account role of the organization you are wanting to edit.
- You
can quickly switch roles by clicking the person icon in the top-right
corner of the page and selecting the role you would like to switch to. The
panel as seen in the screenshot below will list the last few account
roles that you have accessed. If you do not see the role you want
to switch to, click 'account settings' on that panel to view all of your account's roles. This link will also take you to that page: https://app.blesseveryhome.com/person/
- When you are viewing the correct organization (evidenced by the name to the left of the person icon), click the 'Settings' icon on the yellow navigation bar.
NOTE:
If you are using a device or browser window that has a horizontal
resolution that is too narrow, some of the icons on the yellow
navigation bar may be condensed into a '. . . more' icon. If you see a '. . . more' icon on the far right of the yellow bar, click that icon and select 'Settings' from the list.
- Scroll down below the administrators section to find the editable fields seen in the screenshot below:
- Make any changes to the information by typing or removing text in the fields.
- Contact phone - the phone number for the organization. This will be visible to users who might affiliate with your organization.
- Web address
- your organization's website URL, preferably the home page. This may
be auto-filled from the information gathered in the previous step.
- Privacy policy link
- a URL for your organization's privacy policy. We recommend your
organization have a published privacy policy that indicates how your
organization handles a user's personal data.
- Below this section you can manage your organization's affiliations with network organizations. This means that your organization's stats will directly count towards theirs. They will also have access to some information about your directly-affiliated Lights. It should be noted that personal information of your Lights such as their name, email address, and full home address are not shared. Instead, their information will be anonymized and only their approximate location will be shown.
There are some types of information that your organization cannot edit. Please send us a help ticket if you need to edit the following:
- Organization's address
- Organization's name
- Affiliated Lights
- Affiliated churches or network ministries (applies only to network ministries)
