Change your current home address

To edit or change your Light role's address follow the instructions below:

  • First, make sure you are logged into your account on the website. To log into your account on the website use this link: https://app.blesseveryhome.com/login/ and the same credentials used to login on the mobile app.
  • Once logged in on the website, click the 'Settings' tab. 

  • Locate the 'Home address' heading. Click the 'Change' button to begin the process of updating your address. 
  • A text box entry box will replace your current address. Begin typing your new street address. You will see a drop-down box appear with address suggestions based on what you are typing. It will update the suggestions after every letter that you type. When you see the correct address appear in the drop-down box, click that address. You must select an address from the drop-down box in order to continue.

  • When you have confirmed your new address information is correct, scroll to the bottom of the page and click on 'Save changes'.

  1. If you click the 'Save changes' button after changing your address, you will be prompted to recreate your list. You MUST click 'Recreate List' in order to receive a new prayer list based on your new location. 

Note: The address lookup system uses a Google Maps API to locate your address and place it on our map. Your prayer list will then be generated based off of that address. In some instances, the system will fail to find the correct address if it is not typed exactly as it appears in Google Maps. For instance, if you provide your address as 123 N Main street, but Google Maps lists it as 123 Main St., you may find it incorrectly placed on your map in Bless Every Home. If the drop-down box does not list your address as you believe it should be listed, go to Google Maps, type in your address and see if their system lists it differently or if it is placed in the correct place. If you are still experiencing an issue locating your address, please submit a help ticket including the address you are trying to use and we will assist you in updating your address.
